Canisteo-Greenwood Elementary School

One of the Elementary Student Lighthouse Team’s goals was to complete a service project.  The students decided to participate in Pennies for Patients to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  With the help of programs like this, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has invested more than $1 billion in research to advance therapies and save lives.  Throughout this process, our students learn about service, leadership, and philanthropy. 

Students in grades PreK-6 were able to raise $2,648.24.  Congratulations to the students at C-G for a successful fundraising campaign.  

The top three classrooms are:

3rd place: Mrs. Dailey's class with $200.39.

2nd place: Mrs. Askins's class with $206.96.

1st place: Mrs. Haley's class with $283.40.
